The Resilient Village

Towards a Resilient Resilient Village: Community-based Community Disaster Risk Management Lingkar’s Program

Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) is a community development framework organized by the community itself by developing the ability to recognize and manage hazards, reduce vulnerability, manage resources systematically and integrated in sustainable development efforts without creating dependency to reduce disaster risk, so that the community is safe and has resilience to disasters.

The CBRM program aims to create a village with the characteristics of community independence and resilience in managing hazards and when facing and risking disasters. This resilience can be achieved if there are guarantees for planning and implementing sustainable development.
